My favorite class at CHA was the Travel Journal. It was an advanced class and really opened up a new world of inspiration and techniques for using Tattered Angels. We all took this class Me, Cam, Mom, Fern, and even Lydia (who rocked it btw).
So biggest tip of the night was using the Brayer Tool to press the ink into the fibers of the chipboard or paper. This is seriously a whole new world when it comes to using Glimmer Mist. After you have sprayed your color(s) you simply run the brayer over them.
Like I said the ink is then pressed into the chipboard in this case and is blended.
This was the cover to the Travel Journal which was originally white.
Of course you can also use a heat tool (i.e. embossing gun) to dry your inks and set them. I
like that better than blotting with a towel or sponge. This is the ideal way to dry Glimmer Mist on paper or silk flowers, it quickly restores the flower back to a crisp dry and ready for glue (glue will not adhere when flowers are damp).
The Tattered Traveler Travel Ledger comes with this transparency cover which we added bronze paint pen work and Glimmer Chip letters.
The Chipboard cover is embossed in the center.
We added the N,S,E, W from the new Framed Fonts. We used the stop watch. These are unique because they are made of high quality WHITE chipboard and are embossed. The center circle pops out as well as the letter to give you the positive and negative letter. With one package we were able to do the "TRAVEL"< the "N,S,E,W" as well as "Journey".
We used the stop watch again on an inside page as a mask and as an embellishment.
We also used the new coordinating XL stamps called screen stamps.
This is the Tattered Traveler Clock.
Also from the Tattered Traveler collection we used the stop watch Glimmer Screen on the fold out double page inside the book.
Another technique we used was crumpling the paper before spraying and then going over with an ink pad hitting the creases.
Back in the hotel we went a step further and used the Glimmer Chips from our kits as screens.
A great tip for using the negative letter was to use a circle punch on pattern papers and back the chip. Did I mention all of the Framed Fonts are self adhesive! The Tattered Travelers are embossed with clocks and watch parts. They look so fab after they are sprayed and inked.
At the GORGEOUS Tattered Angels booth
We worked with some more Framed Fonts at their make-n-take. The Butterflys.
I used the Cherry Blossom and Garden Fairy from the Spring 09 colors.
Alright so they have new Framed Fonts, Glimmer Screens, Glass Albums, clear stamps, and new Glimmer Mist colors but I am really excited about the new line of kits and classes.
These will be class kits that come with:
3 1oz Glimmer Mists
coordinating papers
A Glimmer Glass album
Glimmer screen stencil
embellishments
and either a Screen Prints clear stamp, or a package of Glimmer Glass, or a package of Glimmer Chips.

All of the new products from Tattered Angels are impressive and innovative and I find the company to be caring and generous. Check out the prize basket they gave away each day. Lucky Mom!
They also made a special Green Tea Glimmer Mist for all of their guests!
So I thought I would share by having a little drawing for the new Stop Watch Glimmer screen, and the Green Tea Glimmer Mist!
